Needfinding
In the initial needfinding assignment, we interviewed several people who travelled often. This allowed us to discover numerous issues that travelers and tourists face.
Point of View & Experience Prototypes
Using our needfinding results, we narrowed down our problem field and started exploring possible solutions. The construction and testing of an experience prototype allowed us to explore a concept in greater detail.
Low-Fidelity Prototype & Test
The Low-fidelity prototype was our first attempt at creating an application designed to help users add spontaneity to their travel experiences. This prototype was drawn by hand and tested using a prototyping tool (POP).
Medium-Fi Prototype
The Medium-fidelity prototype was build using more sophisticated computer design and automated prototyping software. This prototype aims to provide a more "realistic" app experience, while fixing the design flaws present in the Low-fidelity prototype.
Heuristic Evaluation
The heuristic evaluation results are linked below:
Hi-Fidelity Prototype
The High-fidelity prototype is our most realistic prototype yet. Designed to emulate a real, production-quality native iPhone application, the High-fidelity prototype fixes some of the issues identified in the heuristic evaluation.
