Our High-Fidelity Prototype

Using the feedback from our Heuristic Evaluations, we were able to more precisely pinpoint the most essential problems in our design for the Spice app in terms of usability and user navigation. We began the process of incorporating selected feedback from our Nielson heuristic evaluation by redesigning some of our Figma screens and using these screens for our High-Fidelity Prototype.

From there, we used React Native and JavaScript to execute the High-Fi functionality for navigation, buttons, and screens, which all ultimately led us to the completion of our three tasks. While most of the functionality was achieved, there are still some Wizard of Oz features such as the data compilation (gathering all the specific recipes), the full chat functionality, onboarding, taking a photo, and a "FaceTime"-esque call that are out of scope at this moment.

Our hard-coded features include having a list of friends that you can choose to message but only one, Britney’s, is interactable. This way, you can still challenge a friend without actually needing them to reply and accept your challenge and carry out the friendly duel competition that way.
