Our process

Week 1 was a fast intro to the course! We conducted four needfinding interviews exploring people’s engagement in digital and physical space before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. We focused on exploring this from the perspective of “The Entertainer” - how entertainers engage people in physically and digitally, and “The Entertained” - how people entertain themselves physically and digitally.

Our Empathy Map

We analysed our interview transcripts and recordings and created. an empathy map. This categorised findings into four categories, based on what our interviewees “said”, “think”, “did” and “felt”.

Our Reflection

After our needfinding, we decided to focus on exploring virtual performances, from the perspective of performers & audience members.
