Our Process

With our new focus of exploring virtual performances, we interviewed a VR expert, three performers, and one audience member, all of whom have had experience with physical and virtual performances.

We then brainstormed solutions, focusing on answering the question, “How do we capture the energy of in person performances virtually?”

We then created three experience prototypes which focused on testing the assumptions in our proposed solutions.

Our Reflection

Based on the results of our experience prototype testing, we decided to focus on creating a collective listening experience before and during performances, interact freely, and watch simultaneously. Our solution would also allow performers to interact with groups of audience members to their liking.
