High-profile incidents in the tech industry in the past few years, on issues as wide ranging as data security and sexual harassment, are creating alarm from regulators and the general public alike. This increased scrutiny is causing many in tech to examine the values of the industry -- and start working on ways to increase ethical behavior across the sector. The approaches to developing ethics are as broad as the scandals driving the conversation. In this session, we'll look at the emerging landscape of organizations and movements working to build a more ethical tech sector and dive deep on one of them -- how tech is effecting economic inequality -- to answer questions about the sustainability of the industry in the coming decades.
