Audio Reality Med-fi prototype README By Kylie Holland, Manuel Rolon, Pramod Kotipolli Operating Instructions: For this medium-fidelity prototype we used Figma and Adobe XD. We prototyped the mobile app in figma, and then the AR glasses in Adobe. Then we added the interactions in Figma. The prototype simulates an IOS app and a Google glass. Figma highlights clickable areas so that users can navigate through the prototype. Features: * Hard-coded: input text, QR code, class, student, and device information, lecture text and speech direction. * Wizard-of-Oz: transcribing and transmitting the text for the AR classes, also identifying the speaker direction. * Limitations: * The user cannot interact with the google glass (zooming in, scrolling up and down) * The user cannot fill out forms themselves * Future plans * Google glass interactions * Settings page * Users can search for and add classes, students, and devices beyond the hard-coded options. Begin: 1. Click the AR app to open it. 2. Clicking the username box fills in student credentials, and clicking the password box fills in administrator credentials. The credentials are hard-coded. Student: 1. Click through the search and see a hard-coded list of classes. 2. Click any of the classes and see how a student would set up a class for the glass. 3. Continue to the QR code. Click the code and start the glass AR prototype. 1. Up until the QR code, you can go back and forth between the screens by clicking back. 2. You can also go back to the home or search screens by clicking the AR logo at the bottom of any screen. 4. You can request a class by clicking the request class button on the class list page. Administrator: 1. Once logged into the administrator account, the user can click on the student, class, or device button. 2. After clicking the student button, the user can click to look at a student’s profile or add a student. 3. After clicking the device button, the user can edit a device or link a device to a student. 4. After clicking the class button, the user can approve a student’s request for a class.
