Project Brief: Creating (small) Media

Introduction
Everyone wants to be heard. Whether it's writing blog posts, showing off artwork, or sharing juicy details on Facebook, we are all creating and interacting with web content. Most of the interfaces for creating that content were built for desktop applications, and are sometimes adapted for mobile devices with limited success. This new opportunity to create content on our mobiles brings up several interesting questions and possibilities for innovative design. In what way should mobile applications for creative applications differ from desktop ones? Could we use mobile technology to inspire new ways of creating? What are the advantages and disadvantages that would constrain or inspire our creative activities? How can we revolutionize the way we create?

Your Mission
Why should we let "diet" versions of desktop applications constrict our way of thinking about creating web content when there is an opportunity to create inspiring mobile applications? Your mission is to change the way web and media content creation is done by bringing it to mobile computing.

What Success Will Look Like
Successful projects in this domain will follow a user-centered design process to create an application that provides new ways for users to generate creative mobile content.
