I Like/I Wish Discussion Notes

I Like...
that some students said strongly that Julian's session was a valuable and necessary experience--having it in class made it safe enough to address it.
that the exercise created ground rules now that they have and they need to stay with them.
that teaching team did it as well, modelling what you can do.
the opportunity to do it early in teams.
openness in class to doing new things.
that we can "come to the edge of the cliff"

I Wish...
students had tools to do discussion outside of class, maybe make it homework with some kind of notes or things to hand in.
we could come back in a couple of weeks to see what happened in discusions
maybe send out a process-encouraging email
have Peter do a coaching thing first week of March.
we could use class time again, don't necessarily need further facilitation.
it was clearer what some teams need in structure -- clearer to teams and coaches.

How To...
establish ground rules for teams? -- some naturally have them.
