I Like/I Wish Discussion Notes

I Like...
the mix of people - undergrads to postdocs - will make interesting
the nice mix of disciplines
how personal the class was - how personable everyone was
how it feels like a kindergarden class - provides the motivation
seeing the IDEO video
the student involvement - lots of talking & willingness to be silly
that there was not so much powerpoint
that the discussions showed the range of aspects of the class (not just b-mod, etc)
that it was not just a lecture format
that the teachers built upon each other's presentations - makes more dynamic
the fact that there were men and women
the awkwardness when people were stuck standing - a great movement issue
that people are taking the class to get out of their comfort zone
the large mix of people to learn stuff from

I Wish...
i had made it on time
class had started on time
some people didn't have a class before this
that i knew how many of the people here today are actually planning on taking the class
that the class area was larger
that the discussion had gone on longer
that the d.school had more ergonomic chairs

monitor our use of time as we go through to prevent rushing at the end?
