Design for Agile Aging
Assignment 03: Second Poster Prototype

In class today we shared the observations, stories, and insights we gleaned from our observations over the weekend. Your job is to take what we learned from those observations and come up with three more poster prototypes.

Your prototypes should:

Some of these requirements are in opposition to each other, so part of your job is to find a suitable balance. It's okay if you don't address each need completely in every prototype. It is more important to be creative and come up with three very different and interesting prototypes.

When coming up with prototype ideas, it is useful to ask yourself, "what question is this prototype trying to answer?" We would like you to do this for each prototype, and to write those questions on your posters. An example question might be, "will a system that tells jokes when you perform specific exercises be engaging for older adults?"

We know you don't have much time between now and Thursday, so don't agonize over these prototypes. We're just looking for something that's quick and dirty and no more than 11" x 17" in size. So long as each poster covers the need, the user, and your unique insight (including the question you are posing), that should be fine.
