Practical Interactive Design
October 14, 1992

Animatrix is an interactive design company. Since 1984 they have created over 250 projects, all based on the theory that computers should be self explanatory.

Although the visual treatment looks very different for each client, Animatrix's work is unified by the following principle - to always design for the end user. Their focus is on making computers intuitive through the use of visual logic, human factors, task analysis, and work flow.

Marney Morris, the president of Animatrix, will be presenting work created for clients such as The Limited, Domino's Pizza, Charles Schwab, TV Guide, Microsoft, Apple, and Adobe.

Marney Morris grew up in Palo Alto. She earned a degree in Science at the University of California, Davis, and a degree in Fine Art at the University of California at Santa Cruz, but credits a class with composer John Cage as the most influential in her education.
